Instead of killing her, he does so much to help her, to keep her safe. I think that her selflessness is one of the many reasons that I liked her and I think it's also one of the reasons why Alex fell for her.Speaking of Alex, I also really liked his character! He is an angel hunter who does everything he can to wipe out angels and keep people safe, but although Willow was and angel and someone who he was essentially supposed to kill, he was able to sense the good in her and knew that she was different from the other angels. She is forced to make some really hard decisions and is willing to sacrifice herself if it means that she can help save the lives of others. I also liked the fact that although Willow had so much power, she knew that she had to use it to keep people safe, unlike the way the other angels were using their powers. I felt that even under such harsh circumstances that she handled herself really well and kept strong. She is a teenaged half angel and half human girl and when she finds this out, her whole life is turned upside down in an instant. Weatherly had my 100% hooked from the very beginning and it was hard to put down from then on! It was a unique twist on angels that made them out to be less of the perfect, heavenly beings that they usually are and made them seem much darker, which was something that I really liked!I liked the character Willow. جاسوس من أجل لا أحد . ستة عشر عاماً في المخابرات السورية by صنيب، باسل محمد روحي. باسل...5/12/2023 all the heroism and sacrifices that that person made and are still in defense of the rights of the Syrian people, their freedom, and to present their cause, their pain and their voice to the world. Let me first say that I have not read the book Montana Sky by Nora Roberts so I do not know how the film holds up in comparison. I would still recommend this to a friend because every opinion will be different and everything deserves a chance. Absolutely NONE of that was in the movie.Īny Nora Roberts novel is awesome. When I read this book my heart would go pitty-pat over the protectiveness Ben showed toward Willa and the sexiness of how tender he was when he discovered she was a virgin. It aggravated me that the actors were so much different from the characters. Neither did Ashley Williams.Īs an avid reader, I think my downfall is that not only do I fall in love with the story, but the characters as well. In my head, Ben McKinnon was a rugged, handsome cowboy and John Corbett just didn't come up to snuff. I could NOT wait to see the movie version. As I read the novel, Willa and Ben quickly became my favorite characters. It was still a really great read, but just really long. Montana Sky was a little hard to get through because it involves 3 half sisters who move in together and Roberts gives each sister a lot of detail. You could imagine my extreme happiness when I realized some of them had been turned into movies. I hadn't discovered her until a couple of years ago and once I realized what I was missing out on, I grabbed all I could.
